This is odd as the crusades were a defensive response to Islamic aggression. Can't do anything it appears these days without the PC libtards getting upset.

Those software packages can be hilarious.

I had a colleague who was the company web designer. She spent ages trying to get a page up and running with no success. Sfter about a month, just as she was almost sacked for incompetence, it was discovered that the moderation package she was using was censoring anything she wrote containing the word 'document'. It objected to the consecutive nature of the 3rd, 4th and 5th letters.

Thank fuck we weren't located in Scunthorpe.

Technically the punishment for "taking the Lord's name in vain" in the Bible is much more severe that saying the names of Allah in "defiance and ridicule."

I suspect the word Jesus is censored so as not to offend Christians, which apart from being ridiculous in of itself, isn't anything to do with appeasing Islam.

Something that wound me up last night playing poker, i was watching a hand unfold and typed "jesus" into the player chat which was then censored out.

Just out of curiosity I typed in allah, which wasn't censored.

It actually really fucked me off to be honest.

I am not going to get into the actual issue because that is not my place. But that article "quoting" the BBC and yet being silly enough to link to their discussion of it is such rubbish journalism. The BBC thing basically lays out the question and gives the background and asks three people. Who are all quite wishy-washy either way.

The original site is newschicken which did the fake story about the women and sausages that people loved so much on here.

My brother works for a local Government body who had some money in their budget to pay for a St George cross floral display for the last World Cup. It was objected to, but not by social justice warriors (for a change) but by local Muslims.

They went ahead with the display anyway.
